Only ten of us for the longer Bernia Circuit. Having been caught short by the cold weather
last week we came better prepared today, even though it was clear and sunny.
It was the anti clockwise walk again, starting with the
easy walk to the fort
No matter how often you see it, the scenery is always very
impressive
Having walked in the shade for the first part of the walk,
it was nice to emerge into the sunshine at last. Still pretty cold, but comfortable now with
the walking and sun combined.
This is a long and challenging walk, and fortunately Pat
kept the pace slower than last time we did it
As we neared the fort we had views towards Benidorm and the coast
We had a short water break at the fort, but were soon off again
This is the last photo I have of this walk, unfortunately I deleted the rest in error

Next week will be Parcent to Orba Castle. Meet at the “chicken shacks” at 10am
